South Korean motorcycle manufacturer, Hyosung Motors, rumored to be soon released the 250cc sportbike for the Indian market in 2012. Munurut local media, Hyosung will partner with local companies, Garware Motors, to market the latest motorcycle models.
If this Hyosung plans materialize, the Korean manufacturer will face a strong opponent of Japan, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Honda CBR 250R, which had already filled the Indian market.
Not to say whether the Hyosung 250cc model will be assembled in CKD in India as is done on the model of ST7 and GT 650R. Media estimates that Hyosung will be priced comparable to the 250cc Ninja 250R and CBR 250R is marketed at a price range of 151,000 to 269,000 rupees
